BELAJAR BAHASA INGGRIS SEDIKIT DEMI SEDIKIT

SPECIAL EXPRESSION
don't even : boro - boro
just small talk : hanya basa basi saja
I lost my way : aku tersesat d jalan
don't rub in it : jangan diungkit-ungkit
I get cold : aku masuk angin
You are still blue : kamu masih ingusan
Lick : menjilat
Mislead : menyesatkan
Persuade : membujuk
Pretend : berpura-pura
Prevent : mencegah
Prick : menusuk
Sneak : menyelinap.

* Don't have to, Needn't and mustn't **
A. Don't have to AND Needn't
we use don't have to and needn't when we say that something is not neccessary.
example :
- you don't have to apologize. it is not your fault.
- you needn't apologize. it is not your fault.
B. Need to
there is an ordinary verb need, which we can use in positive and negative sentences and in questions. Need to means the same as Have to. To form negatives and questions we use do.
* Have to
- The colours have to matc.
- the figure doesn't have to be exact
- Do we have to book in advance ?
